Our route takes us through the natural desert landscape from El Cotillo to Lajares. There we will encounter a historic giant of the island: the Calderón Hondo volcano. We will easily climb up to the observation platform by bike, where we will be rewarded with an impressive view of the entire north coast of Fuerteventura, all the way to the neighboring island of Lanzarote.

For those who want to go even higher, the last meters up to the crater of the volcano can be hiked.

This 45-kilometer tour, guided by one of our experienced local guides, starts in El Cotillo and leads us first to the charming village of Lajares where we enter the scenic Volcano Road, a unique route that winds through ancient lava fields and volcanic cones on the way to Corralejo.

Here, we take a well-deserved break to relax and enjoy the local atmosphere. We then begin our return journey toward Majanicho, following the beautiful north shore where we pass by the famous “Popcorn Beach”, known for its curious white coral fragments that resemble popcorn.

From there, we make our way back over Lajares to El Cotillo.

Visit the most iconic beaches in the north of Fuerteventura on wheels in this 35-kilometer E-Bike adventure along cliff-top viewpoints and wild landscapes, accompanied by one of our local tour guides. 

The tour begins at Piedra Playa, a kilometer-long beach in El Cotillo known as one of the best spots on the island for water sports lovers. We ride along the cliffs with breathtaking views over the Atlantic, until we reach Esquinzo Beach, a peaceful and relatively untouched stretch of coastline framed by dramatic cliffs.

We then ride through the Barranco de Esquinzo, making our way toward one of the most iconic places in the north of Fuerteventura: the town of Tindaya, home to the sacred Montaña de Tindaya. Here, we take a well-deserved break to enjoy a coffee and soak in the impressive surroundings.

Our ride back brings us through Lajares before returning to the charming fishing village of El Cotillo.
