Bike tours through the hidden Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura is a beautiful island. There are great bike tracks around El Cotillo, on which you can even cruise to Corralejo. But if you want to get to know Fuerteventura off the well-known paths, then one of our guided bike tours is just right for you. Our local guide knows the island like the back of his hand. Barranco Tour - 25 km
We leave El Cotillo in the direction of Playa de Esquinzo and follow a hiking trail that runs along the entire coast to Los Molinos. On the way we have the opportunity to see the Playa de la Escalera or the staircase beach.
From Esquinzo we head towards Montaña de Tindaya through the Barranco de Esquinzo, a dry river bed. Along the way are the Casas del Taca, about 20 19th-century houses and various abandoned wells from the same era.
Then we turn to La Oliva and drive through another river bed, the Barranco de los Encantados. Stone and sand formations created by wind and water erosion offer a unique backdrop.
The tour ends back here in El Cotillo. The total duration is about 2-3 hours. The tour is suitable for every level.

We leave El Cotillo towards Barranco de los Encantados, a dry river bed. Along the Barranco we pass unique sand and rock formations that have been dug into the landscape by wind and water for a long time.
Then we pass through the small village of Lajares. We continue to follow the road until we reach the volcano Calderón Hondo. After climbing the crater, we have a great view of the entire north coast of Fuerteventura and to the neighboring island of Lanzarote. The volcanic crater can be climbed from the viewing platform.
The way home takes us back through Lajares to El Cotillo. Overall, the tour lasts about 2-3 hours and is suitable for every level.
